About this property
Located within the grounds of Hampton Court Palace in East Mosely beside the River Thames, The Stud House at Hampton Court Palace was built in the early 18th century. The Royal Stud had been at Hampton Court since the reign of William III and in 1812 George IV revised the breeding of blood-stock. In 1815 the stud buildings were placed under the office of works.
The 6-acre garden was completely re-designed by Mollie Salisbury (Marchioness of Salisbury).
The interiors were done by Patrick Kinmonth with the help of the antique dealer Edward Hurst.
