COLEBROOK HOUSE

Colebrook House is one of Winchester’s finest private residences, being Listed Grade II*. It is one of the most important historical buildings in the city with its royal connections, having been passed by Mary Tudor to the City Council on the occasion of her wedding in the cathedral to Philip II of Spain. The property is surrounded by Anglo-Saxon streams which pass through the garden, two of which are reputedly known as St Ethelburga and the Lock Burn.
