- Mayrhofen is a very fashionable dual season resort with a number of top hotels, boutique shops and restaurants.
- The winter months offer great skiing and other snow sports such as Nordic walking and snow shoeing, and due to its close proximity to the Hintertux Glacier, Mayrhofen enjoys a long winter season. The Mayrhofen Hippach ski area is part of the large Zillertal ski area which offers 515km of on-piste skiing. There are numerous other events including the infamous Snow Bombing festival which marks the end of the season.
- The summers offer golf, tennis, mountain biking and fabulous hiking. All activities are located on the doorstep.
- Mayrhofen is ideally located 50 minutes’ drive from Innsbruck airport which has regular flights to and from the UK. The resort is also situated on a main line train station with good services from major nearby towns.
